Centurion Air Cargo
is a privately owned airline founded in 2000 as a non-scheduled carrier operating under the ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) concept. It was later acquired and transformed into a supplemental air carrier under part 121 of the US Department of Transportation.
With the successful merge with South Winds Cargo in 2006, Centurion Air Cargo has become a fully integrated schedule airline, being one of the leading cargo airlines in the Americas.
Based in Miami, US, the company offers services to most destinations in Latin America, operating a fleet of eight DC10-30F full freighters and specializing in the transportation of perishables and live animals.
Centurion's experience with the DC 10-30F aircraft has demonstrated the company's ability to operate wide-body aircrafts profitably.
